Aircon installation, Pretoria East
Aircon installation from R10,500, fully installed
Supply and installation of inverter air conditioners across Pretoria East. Sized to your room, quoted upfront, installed neatly, with a Certificate of Conformity on every job.
The right unit pays for itself
Cooling can make up 30 to 40 percent of a summer electricity bill. An inverter unit can cut that cooling cost by 30 to 70 percent compared with an older non inverter aircon, because it modulates power instead of constantly switching on and off at full draw. We will tell you honestly when a cheaper non inverter unit makes sense, for example in a room you rarely use.
What an inverter actually saves you
Pick a unit size and how long it runs on a hot Pretoria day.

How we work this out
- The default is roughly what a Tshwane household pays per unit from July 2026, including VAT. Change it to match your bill.
- We assume the compressor averages about 60 percent of its rated output, which is normal once a room has cooled.
- An older non inverter runs flat out then switches off. An inverter throttles down and gets more efficient the longer it runs, so the gap widens on long, hot days.
- Estimates for comparison, not a promise. Your real bill depends on insulation, sun, how often doors open and the unit you choose.
What size do you need?
An undersized unit runs flat out and wastes power. An oversized unit short cycles and cools unevenly. Size matters more than brand.

What clients say
The quote we accepted is the amount we paid. The installation took just under four hours and the wall was sealed and painted over so neatly you cannot see where the pipe goes through.
We sent a photo of the room on WhatsApp and had a fixed quote the same afternoon. They confirmed the unit positions with us before drilling and left the room cleaner than they found it.

Installation questions
A standard back to back installation takes 3 to 4 hours. Longer pipe runs or electrical work can add time, and we will tell you upfront if they do.
The indoor unit and the outdoor unit sit on opposite sides of the same wall, with a short pipe run of up to three metres. Most home installations are back to back. Anything more involved is measured and quoted before we start.
Yes, with every installation. It is legally required for refrigerant work in South Africa, and without it your manufacturer warranty and insurance can be at risk.
Yes. An inverter drops to a low power draw once the room reaches temperature instead of switching on and off at full power. Savings of 30 to 70 percent on cooling costs are typical compared with older non inverter units.
As a guide, 9000 BTU covers rooms up to 18 m², 12000 up to 25 m², 18000 up to 35 m² and 24000 up to 48 m². Sun facing rooms and high ceilings may need a size up. Try the size finder above, or send us a photo and the room size and we will confirm.
Yes. We decommission it safely, reclaim the refrigerant as required by law and take the old unit away.
